Seeing a need for energetic, nonprofit work in this area,in 2004, the late MS. Governor Kirk Fordice and his son Dan, formed our organization, to preserve the stories of local and regional WWII Veterans and to preserve aviation history by keep Vintage and WWII aircraft flying! We've consistently grown since then, all thanks to the helping hands of this amazing community!

Our WWII & Aviation Museum focuses on making the maximum positive effort to better our community, by providing "Living History" through our WWII & Vintage aircraft and our museum full of memorabilia and history of local and regional WWII Veterans! Our members and volunteers provide the Education & Momentum that helps us preserve this history for all ages. Through our love of veterans and community, we strive to teach all who walk through our doors a love of their country, a love of those who fought for their freedoms, a love of aviation and stories that will live with them forever.
Thanks to our fans, we have won a 2021 Top-Rated Award from GreatNonprofits! To read inspiring stories about us and add your own click HERE.

A nonprofit and it's mission is as strong as the community that holds it up. We have an amazing community!
Together, we can do more than we can do alone. Whether you decide to give us a visit or join our volunteers, or hopefully both; sharing the history that is preserved in our small Aviation Museum and the stories of our local and regional heroes, together we can preserve history.
Our museum is run by committed volunteers that give tours, help with events, setting up displays, cleaning aircraft, restoring vintage donated items, and many more needed jobs that keep us going. We bet there is a talent or gift you have that fits perfectly and allows you to do something you feel passionate about.
As you have seen there are many ways to join us and support our mission.

Preserving the history of those who have forged our path of freedom, is now our responsibility to pass on to generations!
