The P-51D Charlotte's Chariot II CAPS

Mississippian and WWII Veteran Cary Salter flew two P-51’s toward the end of the war in the European Theater.   They were, Charlotte’s Chariot & Charlotte’s Chariot II. Located at KTVR- The Vicksburg Tallulah Regional Airport, SHAF is home to the 1945 P-51D Charlotte’s Chariot II. We are honored to have the support to keep her flying today! Our CCII Caps,are in four different colors and they feature the infamous Pi symbol on the side.  Why the Pi you ask? Well if you don’t know, come find out!
